Product Information

This is a working Karoo sheep and cattle farm, with a family history dating back to 1838, when their ancestors first settled here. The fifth generation is still living and working on the farm. This same family offers a taste into farm living in historic surroundings in comfortable lodgings – the “Main Guesthouse” and the “Foremans House”. There is an interesting and noteworthy museum in the original farm house adjacent to the present modern buildings, with original items from their ancestors displayed authentically.

Click here to see the museum.

A visit to Damesfontein is a holiday to experience for everyone.

There are aspects of mountain biking that are more similar to trail running than regular bicycling.
